Global leaders in colour analysis and trend predictions, Pantone, recently released their latest fashion colour report for spring 2016 - unveiling an optimistic palette - we thought we'd get together a collection of the colours in leather form!
Designers this season gravitated toward a palette that is first and foremost calming, with softer shades that offer a sense of relaxation. Paying homage to the beauty of natural resources, this year's palette is influenced by the world of art, and the desire to disconnect from technology and unwind.
A gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure, Rose Quartz is the number one shade, with 22.55 percent of designers using it in their spring '16 collections.
Coming to the fore this Spring is, Peach Echo, a shade that evokes warmth and accessibility.
"Serenity is a calming colour that plays to the whole idea that we know we're still living in turbulent times," Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Eiseman said in an interview with WWD. "Buttercup is all about sunlight, happiness and cheer. This one just speaks to give us a ray of sunshine, something to be hopeful about."
